Keizer church asking for help to find stolen van

KEIZER, OR (KPTV) -

A van used to help families in need was stolen right out of a church parking lot in Keizer.

The van was stolen from the Harvest of Praise Pentecostal Church of God in Keizer.

According to Pastor Richard Grove, the van was used to help people from their congregation get around town.

Grove said the church works with a lot of people getting out of jail and getting their kids back.

The van was used to take those families places to help re-establish relationships.

“We have three families that have their kids back, they have jobs, they've been with us for three years and they're doing really good,” Pastor Grove said. “That van was a real big part of that to get them started.”

The stolen van is a silver 2002 Ford E-150 15-passenger model, with Oregon license plate YRC-424. Pastor Grove said it was taken sometime between last Thursday night and last Friday morning.

Anyone with information that can help get the van back is asked to contact police.
