Police: Demand note used in Parkrose Heights bank robbery

Portland Police responded to the report of a bank robbery in the Parkrose Heights neighborhood on Monday.

The report came in around 4:29 p.m.

Officers arrived to Riverview Bank, located at 10401 NE Halsey Street, and talked to bank employees who said the suspect came into the bank and presented a note demanding money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect left the bank.

Police said no weapons were used during the robbery.

Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

Police said the suspect is a white male in his early 20s, 6' tall, slender build, wearing dark clothing.
