K-9 officer tracks down wanted man near Wilsonville

CLACKAMAS, OR (KPTV) -

Clackamas deputies have one man in custody after he fled from officers and needed to be tracked down by a K-9 officer Monday afternoon.

Deputies said they had been trying to contact 40-year-old Bruce Wilson, who was wanted for multiple felony charges.

Officials said when they located Wilson on SW Boones Ferry Rd. near Wilsonville, he fled on foot

Officers sent K-9 officer Marco after Wilson and he was tracked down and arrested shortly after.

Deputies said Wilson has a long criminal history dating back to 1992. 

Wilson if facing multiple felony charges including resisting arrest and reckless driving.  

Troopers from the Oregon State Police, and officers from Canby Police Department, Wilsonville Police Department, and West Linn Police Department also assisted in the arrest.
