PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland Fire & Rescue responded to a report of a fire at 1033 NW 16th Ave Tuesday night.

The call came in around 7:30 p.m.

PF&R said the fire is located in the basement of Slabtown. The historic bar and punk club has been closed down since 2014.

Due to the building being unsafe a second alarm was called.

PF&R said no one was in the building at the time of the fire.

Firefighters are not entering the building due to structural problems between the 1st and 2nd floor.

Crews had the fire under control by 8:50 p.m.
