Three Oregonians are being recognized as heroes after pulling a man from a burning truck.

Oregon State Police said a man was driving his truck on Highway 26 over the Quartz Creek Bridge in Clatsop County, when he slid on some ice.

Officials said he had crossed into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on with another car.

His truck then burst into flames.

Keith Waldo, John Rejart Junior, and Chris Linderman quickly went to help the man.

They cut the seat belt and pulled the man out just in the nick of time.

According to police, the driver's hair and clothes were already on fire when he was rescued.

Police said their quick actions saved the driver’s life.
