UPDATE: (8:37 p.m. Dec. 22) Vancouver Police said they have located Kaitlyn. She is safe and has been reunited with her family.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Vancouver police are asking for the public’s help to find a 16-year-old girl who ran away from her home in Vancouver Sunday night.

Kaitlyn Campbell is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Police said Kaitlyn ran away from her home near Mill Plain Blvd and NE 92nd St. sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning.

Her clothing is unknown but police reports said she is thought to be carrying a backpack with flower patterns on it and a purse.

Police are treating this incident with a higher priority due to the fact that Kaitlyn has a diminished mental capacity and may not be able to take care of herself.

If you see Kaitlyn, please call Vancouver police.
