PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland Water Bureau crews are repairing two main breaks in southwest Portland starting Sunday morning.

Crews began working at the 1600 block of southwest Skyline Boulevard to repair a broken four-inch water main.

The northbound lane of southwest Skyline Boulevard in this area may be closed during the repairs, and drivers are urged to slow down and obey flaggers.

According to the Portland Water Bureau, crews will then move on to repair an eight-inch main break at the 4200 block of west Burnside Road between northwest Barnes Road and southwest Fisher Lane near the Pittock Mansion.

The eastbound lane of west Burnside Road will be closed in that area in order to make that repair, so one of the westbound lanes will become an eastbound lane in order to keep traffic moving in both directions.

Drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians are urged to use caution around construction areas.

Repairs are expected to go into the evening.
