Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue responded to a fire in the StoneRidge at Cornell apartments Wednesday night.

The report came in around 6:30 p.m. Callers reported fire coming from a wall.

TVF&R said when firefighters arrived they found the fire had breached the wall, extended to a back deck and threatened to spread into an attic space.

Firefighters searched affected apartments and evacuated residents.

The fire damaged three apartments in the ten-unit building.

TVF&R said at one point firefighters had to exit an apartment where the floor had partially collapsed.

None of the tenants in the building will be able to return to their homes Wednesday evening.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and there are no damage estimates available at this time.
