Police searching for Beaverton man allegedly involved in Klamath Falls murder

KLAMATH FALLS, OR (KPTV) -

A nationwide arrest warrant has been issued for a Beaverton man who is allegedly responsible for the murder of another man in a Klamath Falls hotel room.

Klamath Falls Police Department said they conducted a welfare check on a room at the Rivers Inn on Main Street in Klamath Falls around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police said they discovered the body of 57-year-old Rick William Aston inside the room.

Officials suspect Matthew Dean Reyes to be involved in Aston’s death. Reyes is described as a six foot one inch tall Native American man weighing 225 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police have also named 19-year-old Jaurdyn Mosttler of Klamath Falls as a person of interest.

Officials said Mosttler is Native American, five foot four inches tall, weighs 190 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

The public is urged to call 911 if they see either of these two people.
