VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

It's been nearly nine years since a Vancouver man was killed in his home and police are once again asking for the public's help to identify a suspect.

Donald James Brown, 39, was found dead in his Vancouver home on Feb. 4, 2007. His death was determined to be the result of homicidal violence.

Few details have been released by investigators about the case over the years. No arrests have been made.

On Wednesday, the Vancouver Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Oregon put out a request for tips.

Information learned from social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter or YouTube should be shared as these tips may lead to the identification of a suspect or suspects. Links can be shared anonymously through Crime Stoppers.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest in this case or any unsolved homicide.

Tips can be shared by calling 503-823-HELP or by going to crimestoppersoforegon.com.
