Police: 10 arrests in Salem meth bust at home next to drug treatment center

SALEM, OR (KPTV) -

Ten people were arrested when police served a search warrant related to methamphetamine at a home next to a drug treatment center.

The Salem Police Department's Street Crimes Unit served the warrant on the 1900 block of Fisher Road Northeast at 7 a.m. Friday.

The people arrested ranged in age from 26 to 50. Nine of them were arrested for possession of meth and five of the suspects had warrants for their arrest.

Tonya Marie Key, 39, was arrested on charges of possession of meth and maintaining a drug house.

The others who were arrested were identified as: Donald Andrew Acker, 26; Brandilynn Faye Thommen, 35; Juan Carlos Fernandez, 39; Venus Rodriguez, 37; Precilla Cade, 34; Ryan Paul Kapileo Nepaial, 28; Juluana Ruhiya Tagabuel, 26; Christopher Davis Cowlishaw, 41; Vincent Kime Wilson, 50.

Police said the home is located next door to Serenity Lane, an alcohol and drug abuse treatment center.

A Salem code enforcement officer responded to the scene and posted that the home was uninhabitable due to the unhealthy conditions.
