Final: Seattle Seahawks beat the Vikings 10-9 in the NFC wildcard game

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (KPTV) -

The Seattle Seahawks (10-6) came back in the 4th quarter to beat the Minnesota Vikings (11-5) 10-9 in Minnesota Sunday.

The expected high temperature in Minnesota was 0 degrees, making it one of the coldest games in NFL history.

With 1:06 left in the first quarter, a 22 yard field goal put the Vikings ahead for the first score of the game.

Blair Walsh hit 2 field goals in the 3rd quarter to add 6 more points to the scoreboard, making it 9-0 going into the last quarter.

The Seahawks' Doug Baldwin caught a 3 yard pass from Russel Wilson to make the score 9-7 with 11:37 left in the 4th quarter.

With 8:04 left in the 4th quarter, Steven Haushka kicked a filed goal for Seattle to take the lead 10-9.

In the end, Seattle was able to keep their lead and win it 10-9.

The Seahawks will play the Carolina Panthers next Sunday at 10 a.m.
