SANDY, OR (KPTV) -

Oregon State Police said a missing truck driver was found dead at the Brothers Oasis Rest Area on Tuesday.

Police said Bret Lynn Anderson, 56, was reported missing on Tuesday. Police said he was last seen in Ontario, OR on Jan. 7 around 11 a.m. He was picking up a load of paper products that was bound for Springfield.

OSP received a call from a concerned citizen to report a semi-truck and trailer that had been parked at the Brothers Oasis Rest Area since last Friday and had not moved.

OSP arrived to the rest area and found the semi-truck. A trooper entered the cab of the semi-truck and found Anderson deceased in the sleeper berth.

OSP troopers with the assistance of the Deschutes County Medical Examiner's Office believe based on evidence at the scene that Anderson died of natural causes and there is no foul play suspected.
