Officers with the Gang Enforcement Team of the Portland Police Bureau have made an arrest in an October 2015 shooting that sent two people to the hospital.

Marcus Grant, 32, was arrested on two counts of attempted aggravated murder Monday.

The shooting happened in the area of Northeast Killingsworth Street and Sandy Boulevard during the afternoon of October 22, 2015.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found a 39-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman in a sedan that had also been damaged. Both victims had to be transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of their non-life-threatening wounds.

After their nearly three-month investigation, the GET officers arrested Grant at the office of his Probation Officer.

Grant was arraigned Tuesday, and in addition to attempted aggravated murder he is facing counts of assault, felon in possession of a weapon and unlawful use of a weapon. He is being held in the Multnomah County Jail.
