Yamhill Co. narcotics team raid three homes, arrest six in Willamina

WILLAMINA, OR (KPTV) -

Officers with the Yamhill County Interagency Narcotics Team served six warrants at three residences in Willamina Thursday morning after a two-month investigation.

Officers from the Oregon State Police SWAT team the McMinnville Police Tactical Response Team assisted to secure the locations.

Yamhill County Sheriff Tim Svenson, who is the YCINT chair, said the goal was to target troubled neighborhoods.

"This investigation was a community livability issue." Svenson said. "The goal in many of these cases is to try our best to impact particular neighborhoods that may be having issues with unlawful activity. That's what we did today. We appreciate the assistance of the tactical teams in making the service of these warrants as safe as possible."

Six individuals were arrested, ranging in age from 28 to 51.

Rodolfo Portillo, 51, was arrested for parole violation warrant, while Jacob Andrew Potter, 29, and Darren Meinert, 29, were arrested for probation violations.

Ryan Dougherty, 35, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for involving walking away from a prison facility. Talon Moquas Crain Jackson, 23, also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

Derek Doornbos, 28, was arrested for possession and delivery of methamphetamine.

The men are all being held in the Yamhill County Jail, with Portillo, Potter, Dougherty, Jackson, and Meinert being held without bail. Doombos has bail of $17,500.

Drugs were also found while the warrants were being served, and these subjects could face further charges.
