BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -

A Beaverton store is asking for help finding a man they say stole an expensive electronic item, while holding a young girl.

Drones Plus said the man stole a $350 pair of high-tech goggles from the store on Jan. 9.

Surveillance video shows the man in a blue hoodie walking into the store. The manager said the man walked around and even spoke with an employee.

Then, they say he took the goggles, walked toward the door, bent down and hid the product on him before walking out.

"You know, these are small, high-value electronic equipment. It's easy to try to steal," said store manager Kenneth Silverton. "However, I was surprised to see him willing to steal with a daughter in his arms, or with a young girl in his arms."

The manager says the man came back into the store later and bought a couple of items using cash. The store reported the theft to Beaverton Police, who said they would like to talk to the man on the camera and have not named him as a suspect.

The case is still under investigation.
