PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A man accused of assaulting a woman on the campus of Portland State University is still on the run.

Asish Sharma has been convicted of assault, burglary, and domestic violence in the past.

He is accused of assaulting a woman and threatening to kill her on the PSU campus on January 13.

Someone who knows Sharma, but didn’t want to be identified, said he is an introvert and his actions are unpredictable.

The acquaintance also noted Sharma has serious problems with his attitude and is very aggressive.

Sharma was banned from all Portland Community College Campuses in 2014, after he was caught stalking an ex-girlfriend who went to school there.

In one case, Sharma pushed the woman down and assaulted her.

Sharma’s acquaintance said he needs to turn himself in and to get help.

He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

If you see Sharma, police say do not approach him, but to call 911 immediately.
