In the second round of the NFL playoffs, the Seattle Seahawks fell to the Carolina Panthers 31-24 in Charlotte, North Carolina Sunday.

Jonathan Stewart from the University of Oregon had a strong first half performance, scoring two touchdowns for Carolina.

After the first quarter, the Panthers led 14-0.

The Panthers came back again with a field goal, creating a 24-0 Carolina lead.

Greg Olsen had what the Seahawks called an 'acrobatic touchdown reception' making the score 31-0 at the half.

The Seahawks would not go down without a fight, scoring two touchdowns in the 3rd quarter.

Seattle scored one more time after Russel Wilson threw deep to Tyler Lockett, narrowing the lead to 31-14 Panthers.

Another amazing catch by Lockett kept the momentum for Seattle to score again, making the score 31-21 Panthers.

With only 1:12 left in the 4th quarter, the Seahawks kicked a field goal, making the score 31-24 Panthers lead.

Unfortunately, the comeback was not enough for the Seahawks, and the Carolina Panthers pulled off the win 31-21 at home.
