PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Dozens gathered Sunday to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

Organizers from the group Don’t Shoot Portland marched along Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to the Convention Center.

According to the groups Facebook page, the rally aimed to show support for the Black Lives Matter movement, and victims of discrimination.

One protester told us that seeing everyone to show their support was amazing.

The protesters also held signs of the names of victims of police violence, racial discrimination, and victims of human rights violations.
