Missing Vancouver man found safe

VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

UPDATE (9:50 a.m.): Family members said Duane Hall has been found safe.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Police are asking for assistance finding a missing Vancouver man who walked away from a grocery store late Monday night and has not been heard from since.

Police said 67-year-old Duane M. Hall had been shopping with is son at a Fred Meyer located on SE Mill Plain Blvd. in Vancouver around 10:30 p.m. Monday.

Hall’s son said his father became agitated with him while shopping and left the store, stating he wanted to walk to Battleground to visit his ex-wife.

Hall’s family said he suffers from Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease but is physically fit and is more than capable of walking to Battleground.

Hall’s son did not hear from his father and three hours later, he contacted Vancouver police.

Hall is six feet tall and about 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a tan Adidas baseball cap, a blue plaid flannel jacket with a black hood, brown jeans and black low top slip-on boots.
