Due to a scheduling issue by the Breitling Jet Team, the 2016 Intel Oregon International Air Show will be changing its show dates to August 5-7.

Originally, the show was scheduled to be July 22-24 at the Hillsboro Airport.

However, the team informed show officials that they have an event in Europe that prevents them from arriving in the U.S. in time for the originally scheduled dates.

"At our air show, just like at all shows across the U.S. and around the world, jet teams are the headliners - the stars of the show," said Oregon International Air Show President Bill Braack. "They draw spectators and put on the biggest, awe-inspiring performances - just like Breitling Jet Team does. This schedule change gives our attendees the best show experience we can offer."

Customers who have purchased tickets are being contacted by the air show to make arrangements for an exchange, or to receive a refund if unable to attend.

This year is Breitling’s first performance at the Oregon International Air Show, and known for their tight formation flying in their seen black and gold Aero L-39 Albatross jets.

The theme for 2016 show - "Heroes of the Pacific" commemorates the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, and the show will feature a number of aircraft that were active in the Pacific Theater during WWII.
