PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Police are searching for suspects who stabbed one man and attacked another on Southeast Grand Avenue in Portland last month.

Officers responded to the 500 block of Grand Avenue in the early morning hours of Dec. 15.

Two men flagged down a taxi, but as they attempted to get in the car, a man approached them and said he was going to rob the cab.

The victims ran in separate directions, according to police, but one was stabbed in the abdomen, while the other man was beaten by several people.

Both victims, ages 30 and 32, were treated for their injuries at a Portland hospital.

The stabbing suspect is described by police as a white man in his 20s, 5'6" tall with a medium build, a narrow and pointy chin and reddish-brown curly hair. He was wearing a blue baseball hat with white lettering.

Forensic sketches of the stabbing suspect and one of the other suspects were released by investigators Wednesday.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information that leads to an arrest in this case. Tips can be left at 503-823-HELP or online at crimestoppersoforegon.com.
