PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A local pizza delivery man was carjacked days before Christmas, and just this week he got two pieces of good news.

Shannon Smith was carjacked two days before Christmas while out delivering pizzas.

A police officer found his Chevrolet Blazer in southeast Portland on Tuesday, pieces of pizza left in the back.

The thief broke the brand new stereo and navigation system Shannon's son won on Black Friday, and stole his speakers, base and amp. Despite of all that, Shannon is staying positive.

"A big relief. I mean, we really missed having our truck."

Getting his truck back wasn't the only good news Shannon got.

Blane Hartleb, the owner of Outrageous Audio in Gresham surprised Shannon, a longtime customer, with a brand new navigation system and a new alarm system.

The surprise left Shannon nearly speechless.

"Blown away, loss for words man."

The carjacking showed Shannon the worst of society, but this surprise shows there's so much good.

"It meant a lot to have our truck back, and now this too...Wow."

The person who carjacked Shannon is still on the loose. Police found the Blazer on SE 84th, between Duke and Foster.
