PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard is not an NBA All-Star this year.

The All-Star Game reserves were announced Thursday and the coaches did not select the Blazers point guard to represent the Western Conference.

However, they did pick his former teammate LaMarcus Aldridge.

Aldridge left the Blazers in free agency following the 2015 season and joined the San Antonio Spurs.

Aldridge and Lillard were both All-Stars last year for the Blazers, however Lillard wasn't initially selected then, either. He was later chosen as a replacement for an injured player.

Lillard was an All-Star in 2014, as well.

This season, he is leading the Blazers with 24.3 points per game and 7.1 assists per game.
