Shooting in northeast Portland injures man, gang enforcement team investigating

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

The Portland Police Bureau is investigating a shooting in northeast Portland that left one man injured Thursday night.

Police received multiple reports of gunfire and arrived at northeast Martin Luther King Boulevard and Dekum Street around 11:06 p.m.

Police said one caller reported seeing a car quickly speeding out of the area.

A 32-year-old man was later taken to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and later released.

Based on the information learned at the scene, PPB’s Gang Enforcement Team is conducting an investigation.
