PENDLETON, OR (AP) -

The owners of a Pendleton bed and breakfast found more than dust mites while renovating their property, which they can now celebrate with the three vintage bottles of whiskey they unearthed.

The East Oregonian reports that Tracy Bosen and Kevin Michel, who own Pendleton House, found three bottles of Scottish whisky from around the time of prohibition.

The bottles of Teacher's Highland Cream Blended Scotch whisky have no date on them, but one was wrapped in a strip of newspaper with the date Dec. 19, 1930. Each of the bottles has a U.S. Internal Revenue tax stamp.

Alcohol was banned in the country from 1920 to 1933.

Bosen says since Teacher & Sons LTD is still in business, they may contact the company to find the manufacturing date.
