A local television show run by students, for students celebrated a big milestone.

Orca Live broadcasts at Orenco Elementary School. The live show has been airing every other week since 2004.

On Thursday, they celebrated their 300th broadcast.

Thursday's show brought back some of their old anchors to be apart of it.

Students told FOX 12 how they felt being a part of the show.

"I think it's a great skill to know, and I don't know maybe someday I could work on the news or something," said 6th grader Lydia Rubash.

"I wish that we could broadcast it to everyone instead of just the school because people would love it I think," said Liberty High School sophomore Aviden Benavides-Rojas.

The students direct and anchor the broadcasts. They also work the mixer board, audio board and cameras.
