Portland Police is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 40-year old woman who was last seen in September 2015.

Jennifer Lee Brown is described as a white female, 5’9” tall and 150 pounds, with blond or brown hair.

Brown was last seen in mid-September 2015 vising the home of a friend in the area of Southeast 16th Avenue and Stark Street.

Friends and family initially believed Brown may have entered a long-term treatment facility due to addiction issues, but she has not been heard from or been in contact with anyone.

In January 2016, police were contacted about Brown's disappearance.

At the time she was last seen, Brown was homeless and camping in parks, according to police.

Police said there is no indication of foul play, and police would like the public’s help to locate Brown to check her welfare.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Missing Persons Unit by email, missing@portlandoregon.gov.
