Police searching for man who walked away from Woodburn treatment facility

WOODBURN, OR (KPTV) -

The Woodburn Police Department and the Psychiatric Security Review Board are asking for the public's help locating a man who walked away from his residential treatment facility.

Daniel Scott Moore was last seen in the Woodburn area at 10 p.m. Monday. He has lived in Marion County for several years.

Moore is not currently considered dangerous, however he is in need of immediate medical care.

Moore is a white man, 5'10" and 236 pounds with thinning, dark brown hair and blue eyes. He has a beard and a number of tattoos on his chest, arms and right shoulder.

He was last known to be wearing blue jeans, white tennis shoes, a blue coat that reaches below his waist, a blue knit cap and small, round glasses. He might also be wearing a brown knit scarf.

He is known to frequent local coffee shops, Walmart and Goodwill. He may be frequenting places that serve the homeless population or locations where the homeless population congregates.

If you see Moore or have other information about his location, you're asked to call 911 immediately.
