CJ McCollum added to the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum will be added to the 2016 Foot Locker Three-Point Contest, the NBA announced Friday.

McCollum is the eighth Trail Blazer in franchise history to compete in the Three-Point Contest, joining Kiki Vandeweghe, Danny Ainge, Clyde Drexler, Terry Porter, Cliff Robinson, Damian Lillard, and Wesley Matthews.

According to the Trail Blazers, McCollum will be replacing Chris Bosch from the Miami Heat.

McCollum will be competing in the Taco Bell Skills Challenge as well, which is also part of the State Farm All-Star Saturday Night.

He has played 52 games this season, and ranks second on the team in scoring and assists.

McCollum will compete against Golden State’s Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, Houston’s James Harden, Milwaukee’s Khris Middleton, Toronto’s Kyle Lowry, the L.A. Clippers’ JJ Redick and Phoenix’s Devin Booker.

The Foot Locker Three-Point Contest will be taking place at Air Canada Center in Toronto Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Pacific Time.
