PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A very special prom night took place for those with special needs.

The Multnomah University women’s basketball team partnered with the Tim Tebow Foundation to put on the ‘Night to Shine’ event Friday night.

More than 75 people dressed in their best gathered at the Central Bible Church in Portland.

Volunteers provided hair, make-up, and shoe shining.

The 'Night to Shine' event even had a red carpet and paparazzi, and everyone who went to the event was crowned prom king or queen.

The Tim Tebow Foundation is organizing prom nights like these around the world to honor people with special needs.
