PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Police are investigating a report of dozens of shots being fired Saturday night in the Montavilla neighborhood, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

According to police, officers responded to the report just before 10 p.m. Saturday night at 92nd Avenue and East Burnside.

Police said they found evidence of nearly three-dozen shots being fired.

At least two apartments were hit, but no injuries were reported.

Scott Freeman said he was watching a movie with his three sons when a bullet came through his window.

"We heard a loud bang and the glass breaking, then bam, bam, bam," said Freeman. "We shut all the lights off and got away from the windows and walls, and called 9-1-1."

Witnesses said they heard gunfire and cars speeding away.

The Gang Enforcement Team is investigating.

Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call the Police Non-Emergency Line at 503-823-3333.
