Police: Minnesota man driving with 113 pounds of pot arrested in S. Oregon

KLAMATH COUNTY, OR (KPTV) -

A Minnesota man who was stopped for speeding in southern Oregon is now facing criminal charges after 113 pounds of pot was found in his trunk, according to police.

An Oregon State Police trooper stopped a 2012 Toyota Camry driven by David Huckaby, 33, of St. Paul, Minnesota at 12:15 p.m. Friday on Highway 140 near Bly in Klamath County.

During the stop, police said the trooper located 113 pounds of suspected marijuana in the trunk of the car.

Huckaby was taken into custody on the charge of unlawful possession and distribution of marijuana.

OSP troopers were assisted at the scene by OSP Drug Enforcement Section detectives.

The 113 pounds of marijuana is valued at approximately $226,000, according to police.
