PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A man who was killed after a two-vehicle crash early Saturday morning has been identified as 26-year-old Peter West Gefre of Gresham.

Portland Police said on Feb. 13 around 5:30 a.m., 40-year-old Michael Genuine was driving a pick-up truck east on NE Halsey Street when a car driven by 36-year-old David Saucedo failed to stop at a stop sign at 157th Avenue and crashed into Genuine.

Gefre was a passenger in Saucedo's car along with three other people. Gefre was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other three people in Saucedo's car, Gabriel Xesmas Mata, 32, Elizabeth Tate, 18, and Nicholas Bennett, 26, were taken to the hospital and are recovering from non-life threatening injuries.

Police said Saucedo fled the scene. He is now wanted for felony hit-and-run charges.

Anyone with information about the crash or Saucedo is asked to call the Police Non-Emergency Line at 503-823-3333.
