PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A southeast Portland family is asking for the public's help to find their lost possessions that were accidentally given away.

Julio and Kim Encisco were on vacation in Vietnam visiting family. While they were gone, family members were overseeing a reconstruction project on their house.

When workers told the family that items from the attic needed to be moved, the family posted a Craigslist ad offering off the items for free.

What they didn't know is that those items were priceless. Heirlooms intended to be passed down to their daughter.

While several things were given away, Kim says dresses that she made by hand are all she wants back.

"I am just numb. I don't know what to do and I've just cried. I don't wear jewelry. I don't have diamond rings. I don't wear bracelets. I don't have anything to give my daughter except these are the treasures I left for her with all my skills and all my love. I made them."

Kim and Julio have shared their story on Facebook. They are asking anyone, if you happen to have them, to please bring them back.
