One killed, two injured, in crash on Hwy 395

UMATILLA COUNTY, OR (KPTV) -

One person was killed and two were injured in a crash on Highway 395 near Pilot Rock Friday, according to Oregon State Police.

OSP responded to the two-vehicle crash at around 4 p.m. on Highway 395 at milepost 27.5 B.

Troopers said a 1998 Buick Century sedan was traveling north the highway, when the car did failed to make a left turn and crashed into a 1994 Lincoln Continental.

The driver of the Buick, Alexxyss Therwhanger, 20, of Kennewick Washington was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Lincoln Continental, Frank Wimberley, 60, of Prairie City Oregon, was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

A passenger in the Lincoln, Donnetta Kulis, 54, of Prairie City, was also transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
