MOLALLA, OR (KPTV) -

Police arrested a burglary suspect accused of breaking into at least three businesses in Molalla.

Detectives have been investigating a series of burglaries that occurred between Feb. 12 and Feb. 20 at two laundromats and a coffee shop.

The crimes occurred at night, with the suspect stealing cash and other items, according to police.

Detectives said they were able to identify a lone suspect through surveillance video.

Brandon Joseph Stocking, 26, was arrested Monday on three counts of second-degree burglary, as well as charges of criminal mischief, possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Investigators said Stocking is relatively new to the Molalla area. Police are now investigating a potential link to criminal activity outside the area.
