VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

Two Vancouver teenagers are locked up and a third suspect is still missing after police say they carjacked and attacked a Columbia City man

Officers arrested 15-year-old Mik’l Sandoval and 16-year-old Donnie Rodgers Tuesday night.

At 7:15 p.m., officials say the two boys and another teen approached 50-year-old Jeffrey Perron at Motel 6 on NE Chkalov Drive in Vancouver. Perron was sitting in his SUV in the parking lot when the trio allegedly climbed in and starting beating him.

Police say they demanded his keys and started to drive away. But before they got too far, Perron jumped out of the car and called for help.

Minutes later, police responded to a single vehicle roll over crash nearby and the car matched the description of the SUV from the carjacking.

Witnesses say they saw the teens run from the scene.

Officers searched the area and soon found Sandoval and Rodgers, but the third teen got away.

The two suspects made their first court appearance on robbery charges Wednesday.

Perron suffered an eye injury and extensive bruising, but his mother tells FOX 12 that he’s going to be okay.
