Police: SE Portland convenience store robbed, suspect sought

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A convenience store in southeast Portland was robbed Saturday night, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

East Precinct officers responded just after 7:50 p.m. to the report of an armed robbery at Jonny’s, located at 8230 Southeast Harrison Street.

Employees told police that the suspect entered the business, armed with a handgun, and demanded money.

The suspect left after taking cash, and was last seen walking towards Southeast Division Street, according to police.

Police said the suspect is described as an African American male in his 20s or 30s, 6’ 1” tall, slender build, wearing dark-colored clothing, gloves, a mask, and armed with a handgun.
