Missing 83-year-old Portland woman with dementia found safe

Portland Police said 83-year-old Patty Hall has been found safe.

Police are searching for an 83-year-old woman with dementia who was last seen at her Portland care facility Tuesday morning.

Patty Veola Hall left her care home at 102nd and East Burnside at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Police said she normally walks slowly with the aid of a walker, but she left it behind Tuesday morning. Investigators said it's possible she got on a bus or MAX train and became lost.

Officers said Hall suffers from dementia, but does not have any other immediate life-threatening medical conditions.

Hall is a white woman, 5'6" tall and 175 pounds with long black hair, blue eyes and she was last seen wearing a knee-length black coat with fur around the collar, along with a red shirt and black pants. She was carrying a brown purse.
