PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

The massive fire that destroyed a Portland boat storage facility and caused $24 million in damage is not suspected to be the result of arson, according to investigators.

Portland Fire & Rescue reported Thursday that the site has been turned over to the owner of Sundance Marina and his insurance representative.

Investigators said they have no reason to suspect the fire was intentionally set, but the investigation is continuing.

Firefighters were unable to get into the storage area for several days due to the building's collapse.

The four-alarm fire started at 10:30 p.m. Sunday and burned for two days. The 72,000-square-foot warehouse stored around 350 boats.

There were no reports of any injuries in connection to the fire.
