GRESHAM, OR (KPTV) -

Officers with the Gresham Police Department arrested a 18-year-old Hillsboro man on charges tied to the threat that led to Gresham High School being put on lockout Friday morning.

Gregory Carlon Zambrano as arrested for “disorderly conduct related to an expressed threat” of shooting at the school.

A student at the school sent FOX 12 a photo of the words "School Shooting 9:00 a.m." spray-painted on a wall.

Police were at the scene as a precaution, but the lockout was lifted and class resumed as normal.

Investigators note that Zambrano is not a student at Gresham High, and that it is still unknown if he was the person that spray painted the wall.

Officer believe the incident may have been caused from an argument between Zambrano and another teen regarding a common acquaintance.
