ALOHA, OR (KPTV) -

An Aloha man was arrested after robbing an AT&T store, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called to the AT&T store at 20565 Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway in Aloha on the report of a robbery that had just occurred.

A man, identified as Steven Prieto, 25, fled the store with two bags of cell phones after threatening employees.

Deputies were told a man wearing a black hoodie entered the store with a mask over his face and told employees he had a Taser.

When deputies responded to the area, they found Prieto, still wearing the mask, three blocks from the store on Southwest Alexander Street.

He ran from deputies, but was chased down and quickly taken into custody.

Prieto was carrying 19 new iPhones in their original boxes in the two bags, which is valued at over $15,000, according to deputies.

The stolen iPhones were processed for evidence and returned to the store.

Prieto is in the Washington County Jail and charged with second degree robbery, first degree theft, and menacing.
