PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland Fire & Rescue responded to a house fire sparked by explosions Monday night.

Firefighters were called out to the fire, located in the 4700 block of Northeast 111th Avenue, around 6:33 p.m.

When crews arrived, they found the explosions started fires inside and outside the house. Crews were able to extinguish the fires quickly.

PF&R said at the time of the explosions, up to 10 people may have been in the home. Three of those occupants were under the age of 6.

One person had to be escorted out of the home. No injuries were reported.

PF&R's Arson Squad said the cause of the fire appears to be due to butane hash oil explosion.
