GRESHAM, OR (KPTV) -

A woman was arrested on DUII charges after she allegedly collided with a MAX train at an intersection in Gresham late Monday night.

Gresham police arrested 22-year-old Taylor Lee Fast of Gresham at the intersection of E Burnside Street and SE Stark Street around 11:38 p.m.

Police said Fast was driving westbound on Burnside when she ran a red light and tried to turn left onto Stark.

Fast then struck a MAX train that had just entered the intersection at the same time, according to witnesses.

Police said although the passenger side of Fast’s car was severally damaged, no one was hurt in the collision.

Officers added that if anyone had been in the passenger seat, they would have been seriously injured.

Fast faces charges of DUII, reckless driving and criminal mischief.
