PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A Salem woman fighting stage four colon cancer is making sure she does not miss out in life. On Tuesday morning, she crossed one thing off her bucket list: skydiving.

Dianna Trimble’s family arranged for her to go to iFly near Washington Square. Massive wind tunnels gave her the chance to experience a free fall without worrying about jumping out of an airplane.

In 2010, she was diagnosed with colon cancer and despite the terminal prognosis, there is plenty she still wants to do and live for.

Dianna said Tuesday’s skydiving was exhilarating and admitted she is a bit of a risk taker. She said she has never met a roller coaster she did not like.

What made it more special was that she had some of her family there with her, including her daughter.

Dianna said she is already thinking about what she is going to cross off next.

"I'd like to go back to Hawaii," she said. "I'd love to go back again. I would like to go on another cruise. I cruised with my daughter on her 25th birthday. It was a blast. I’d like to travel some more."

Her daughter Kate became emotional while talking about her mother.

"My mom's incredible," she said. "She's my hero. She's the biggest fighter I know. She stayed positive the whole time. She's an incredible fighter and I love her so much."

Other items on Dianna's list include traveling to Mexico.
