ALOHA, OR (KPTV) -

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office has found an Aloha man who went missing earlier this week.

WCSO said 73-year-old James Gleason had been last heard from by his daughter on March 7. Two days later Gleason’s daughter, who lives out of state, contacted deputes and asked them to check on her father, saying it was very unusual for her father to be out of contact for long periods of time.

Gleason’s family said he has memory issues that could cause him confusion and make it difficult for him to communicate or find his way home.

Though deputies initially did not find Gleason or his vehicle at his home, they were able to find him after an extensive search.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office also wished to thank the public for their assistance in the search.
