PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

If you don’t have tickets to the IAAF World Indoor Championships, don’t worry.

The four-day competition will be broadcast live at a free Fan Festival at Pioneer Courthouse Square.

More than 600 athletes from as many as 200 countries will be in the Rose City for the event, which is being held in the U.S. for only the second time in history.

A track, infield and stadium were constructed inside the Oregon Convention Center for the competition.

Spectators can purchase tickets to watch the events, which start Thursday night and conclude Sunday.

The top finishers will be transported to Pioneer Courthouse Square for the medal ceremony.
