PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

March Madness sure lived up to its name Thursday with plenty of upsets and nail biters on the first day of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.

The first round of the tournament continues Friday, and both Oregon and Oregon State will hit the court.

On Deck Sports is one of the many places you can watch both Oregon State and University of Oregon!

Oregon State, who was placed as the seventh seed tips off against Virginia Commonwealth University at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Oklahoma City. This is their first NCAA tournament appearance in 26 years.

Later Friday afternoon, the University of Oregon Ducks, who was placed at the number one seed for the first time in school history tips off against Holy Cross at 4:27 p.m. in Spokane.

If the Ducks and Beavers win their first couple of games, we could have a Civil War in Anaheim for a Sweet-16 match-up.

"It's awesome for the Pac-12 and Bill Walton, who is one of my favorite commentators always says PAC-12 means champions, and if U of O or Oregon State make the Final Four, that would be pretty remarkable."
