Deputies investigate body recovered from Columbia River

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

The Multnomah County Sheriff’s office is investigating a body recovered from the Columbia River Saturday morning.

Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office River Patrol deputies responded to the report of a body seen floating in the Columbia River at approximately 7:35 a.m. near 158th and Marine Drive by a person walking on a trail along the river.

According to deputies, a body of a deceased adult male was recovered.

MCSO River Patrol Deputies transported the body to the Columbia River Patrol dock at 4325 Northeast Marine Drive.

Deputies said the body has been turned over to the Multnomah County Medical Examiner's Office.
